Yeah, I know — some of you out there are saying, “But isn’t DemNotes the state party’s blog?” Well, not really. DemNotes has always been a personal effort by me, First Vice Chair Dan Slater, to keep folks informed about what is going on in the Colorado Democratic Party. We tried, for a while, having other folks post to DemNotes, but it never really worked out, for a variety of reasons.
But that’s OK — because now the State Dems have a place where you can log on and find out what’s going on around the state — I’m hoping that it will become a full-featured discussion with county chairs and Party officers all coming together and posting about their experiences around the state. The blog has been up online live for less than a day, and we already have a few posts from our Otero County Chair, Diane Rikhof, about happenings in the Arkansas Valley. That’s a good start!
You can see the CDP Blog at:

And what about DemNotes? Well, I’m going to still do DemNotes as often as ever. If you just get DemNotes via e-mail, you’ll still get DemNotes via e-mail. But I’ll also try to cross-post my DemNotes entries to the CDP Blog (”Voices of the Colorado Dems”), as well as to my MySpace blog (although I’ve been kinda’ lazy with those posts, so hopefully I’ll get back to the cross-posts). But take a second to go over to the CDP Blog and give it a whirl… we’d love to hear from you!
PS – I mentioned the MySpace blog – if you’re interested, it is at:
