Fremont County FDR Dinner

A huge crowd of 130 filled the Quality Inn in Canon City to capacity at the annual FDR Dinner.  Guests listened to a variety of speeches from an FDR impersonator, Democratic leader Rutt Bridges, and Denver Post columnist Ed Quillen.

The crowd was pretty large...

Emily Tracy with her fiance, a Texas Republican named Bush (really!)

Father John Kauffman and John Kauffman Sr. were present to honor the memory of former Chair Beatrice Kauffman, who had just passed away

An FDR impersonator from Colorado Springs was present to remind folks why they were there

Denver Post columnist Ed Quillen is as insightful and humorous in person as he is every Sunday and Tuesday in the Denver Post

The big crowd made county party treasurer Mike Schnobrich very happy.
